Guitar Valuation Services offer a complete disposition service to assist with the sale of your rare, vintage or high value guitar.
In addition to offering a full valuation and authentication service we are happy to assist with the sale of one, or a whole collection of, rare, high value or vintage instruments.
We understand that it is not just our role to find a buyer; but much more important to find the right buyer. We have a wide-ranging client base and list of U.K. based and international clients who buy from us.
To date we have been involved in the sale of a large collection of rare and high value Gibson guitars, an estate settlement involving a number of rare vintage guitars and amplifiers and even single instrument sales.
- We have a wide-ranging network of buyers and contacts across Europe and the U.S.A., Japan etc. This include other dealers, collectors and name musicians.
- We have supplied a number of name and professional guitarists with guitars and equipment to suit their particular requirements.
- We pride ourselves in being able to place a guitar with the right buyer who is willing to pay a premium to own the particular instrument that they require.
Terms
- Our terms are 10% commission to assist with the disposition of an instrument.
- Should the transaction require travel or is more complex we will advise on travel expenses and/or a 15% commission rate. (In this we charge less than most auction houses who regularly charge between 15 and 25% commission.)
- We can also advise on, and handle shipping, Escrow services and CITES certification.
