We have recently assisted a solicitors and other intermediaries in the disposition of the assets of a deceased member of a well-known British classic rock band. Sadly, the last few years have been marked by the loss to the greater music community of a number of well-known musicians who defined the rock scene in the 1970’s and 1980’s.
We were invited to assist with the valuation by the solicitors acting for the family estate. We provided on-site valuation of an extensive collection of vintage guitars, amplifiers and accessories. We placed 80% of the items the family wished to sell with collectors and dealers in our network. The final value of all liquidated assets was in the region of £75,000.
